Mortgage reviews, Brisbane and SEQ
Your mortgage, reviewed every year, for life.
For as long as your mortgage is arranged through us.
Most people set up a mortgage, then don't look at it again for years. Lenders count on that. Around your settlement anniversary we get in touch, check your loan against 40+ lenders, and tell you straight whether anything should change.
The review costs you nothing. See how it fits our five steps.
Why it matters
Why review your mortgage every year?
Because lenders save their sharpest pricing for new borrowers, not loyal ones. Rates drift over time, and your lender won't ring to offer you a better one. A yearly review means someone is asking on your behalf.
Your life moves too. A pay rise, a baby, a renovation, or the itch to upsize all change what the right mortgage looks like. The review is where we catch that.
Our honest rule
Sometimes the answer is "you're in good shape, leave it".
We only recommend a change when it still makes sense after the costs. If staying put is the better answer, we'll tell you.
How it works
Ten minutes of your time. The comparison is ours.
We get in touch
Around your settlement anniversary. We also check in about three months before a fixed rate or interest-only period ends.
A few quick questions
Any pay rises? Any changes at home? Thinking about a renovation or the next move? We already have your file, so there's no starting from scratch.
We do the comparison
Your loan against 40+ lenders, and against what your own lender offers new borrowers today.
You decide
We show you the numbers and what we'd recommend. Then we do the heavy lifting on whatever you choose.
Three possible answers
What happens after a mortgage review?
Stay as you are
Your loan is still competitive and still fits. Nothing to do until next year.
Ask your lender to sharpen your rate
Lenders often sharpen a rate when a broker asks with a competing offer in hand. No new application and no valuation. Outcomes vary by lender, so we can't promise one.
Move to a better fit
If your lender won't move, or the loan no longer suits you, we look at refinancing, and only recommend it if it pays after costs.
Does the yearly mortgage review cost anything?
No. It's part of looking after our clients, for as long as your mortgage is arranged through us.
Do I have to switch lenders?
No. Often the best result is staying with your lender, sometimes on a sharper rate. We only recommend a switch when it still makes sense after the costs, and the choice is always yours.
What if I'm on a fixed rate?
We check in about three months before your fixed rate ends, so you can choose what comes next instead of rolling onto whatever rate the lender sets.
How much of my time does it take?
Around ten minutes for a few quick questions. We do the comparison and come back to you with the numbers.
Who does my review?
Our team. We already have your file and your history, so you won't be starting from scratch.
My mortgage isn't with you. Can I still get a review?
The yearly review is for mortgages arranged through us. If you'd like us to look at your current loan, start with a quick call and we'll take you through how a refinance works with us.
